You can do the very best you can when you're very, very relaxed, no matter what it is or what your job is, the more relaxed you are the better you are ... That's sort of why I got into acting. I realized the more fun I had, the better I did it.

(0 children) I love that passage. That and the conceptual part of: "Laing returned to the kitchen and listened to the water-pipes, part of a huge acoustic system operated by thousands of stops, this dying musical instrument they had once all played together." are the two parts of that book which always stuck with me the most. I think of any author I've read, Ballard's turns of phrase and sensory metaphors are the moments I remember and think of most often. I dunno what that says, other than I wanna gush about Ballard for a second.

It definitely hinted at it with the glimpses of Juno, just as the first games did by slowly showing more and more of the first civilization until the big reveal at the end of Revelations. Who knows, this film might even play a part in that emerging story. We can only wait and see.   (0 children) I held off on AC4 for the same reasons, however was pleasantly surprised by AC4's modern story. You play as a research analyst on the Sample 17 project of Abstergo Entertainment, of course referencing Subject 17 (Desmond). spoilers You later get asked to hack into a couple of computers and you find that Abstergo had taken Desmond shortly after the event, so you learn more about Desmond, Abstergo, the history of the Animus and in the pirate story, there's the Sage who somehow has inherited knowledge of Those Who Came Before and seemingly gets reborn over and over again.

100 Years Of Yearly Cinema

That means at the very least it was probably around 4 years before they even considered a sequel. It also means they have dedicated a LONG time to this sequel. Youve just made it sound like such a cash grab. It's movie that would suit a sequel and on the world its based on alone, it deserved one. They're expending so much effort on the sequel so pleeease don't be so dismissive just because its not a stand alone movie.
